*****Look for some "extra" challenging work each week. I will send information every Sunday afternoon by group email.

*****I will send you the daily reading/math video and any class information by group email.   We will have a ZOOM meeting every week and days and times will change so that everyone will have a chance to meet.  Please keep in contact with me and respond to my emails, text, or phone calls.  I need to communicate with you weekly to know how your child and family is doing. You have my phone number and email so don't hesitate to get in touch with me if you have questions.

*****Make sure your child is reading each night at home for at least 20 minutes.  Please sign the readling log nightly.

*****Check take home folder evey day.

*****School starts at 8:00. Please be on time to school. This means your child should be in my classroom by 8:00 so we can get started on time.  Thank you so much for helping your child start the day off right and letting them know that school is important.

**** Carpool signs must be present in every vehicle when picking up your child.

*****The children should be reading AR every night. I am asking that each child be prepared to take at least 2 AR tests each week.

****Juice and snack money must be in a ziplock bag labeled with child's name and teacher's name.

****Remember to bring library books to school each day.

****Remember to listen to your child read each night for 15 minutes and sign the folder.  I check the folder daily. This really helps with fluency and DIBELS scores.

****Please check take home folders daily for notes and classwork. Please clean out your child's folder each day.

****A homework assignment sheet will go home each Monday.  Look for the assignment sheet in your child's folder.

****Sign the Tuesday folder and return folder and graded papers on Wednesday. Graded Paper Folders will go home each week on Tuesday.  Remember these grades are recorded in the grade book.

****Remember to write a newsbook letter to your child each weekend.  The children share these letters on Monday with the class.
