Star Student - Leader of the Week

Each student will be star student for a two week period. During this time, your child will have a photo and an "All About Me" worksheet posted. This worksheet will be a homework assignment during the first week of school. I will keep the completed "All About Me" worksheet until it is their time to be star student. The photo will be given back once their two weeks is over. While your child is star student, you may or may not want to do something to celebrate. This will be entirely up to you. Examples of ways to help celebrate being star student would be to send in a treat (pencils, erasers, sugar free candy, stickers, etc), come read a story to the class, have lunch with your child, or you may come up with some other ideas. Also, while your child is star student, their classmates will write a star student letter to them. We will make the letters into a booklet for a keepsake treasure.
